The Intrepid ceiling system incorporates Link & Lock™ battens of various sizes, which are Longboard’s concealed fastener solution. The system’s design facilitates easy installation and allows for creative adaptability in different interior applications. The battens can be mechanically fastened to both conventionally framed ceiling structures and approved suspended ceiling structures, making them suitable for use in all seismic categories. Suspension elements can range from heavy-duty 15/16” T-grid to struts. The battens come in 12-foot or 24-foot lengths and can be easily fabricated to meet specific project requirements either in a prefabrication facility or on-site.
